The most underrated form of photography - September 2023
This work came from the beginning of my second year in college. The brief we were given was to create a 5-10 minute long documentary on anything we wanted to. I decided that I would pick something I feel passionate about, sports photography.
In my opinion, sports photography is severely under-appreciated by the majority of people so I chose to make that my focus of the documentary and to attempt to convince the audience that it's one of the most skilled industries within photography.
My role in this was to write the script, present and edit the piece and I got someone I knew to do the recording for me.
The dog who saved Torquay United - July 2024
This work was from the end of my second year at college, being my final major project. For this project, we were allowed to create whatever we wanted whilst using skills that we had learnt at college over the last 2 years.
I decided that I wanted to do a short documentary on a story about semi-local club, Torquay United. This documentary required me to plan effectively, work under extreme time constraints and organise interviews with people who I had never met.
Then, once I had created the work, I created an exhibition space which showcased my final work for the year. It was shown at the 2024 Cr8 Fest where I was awarded "most resourceful student" for this project.

Five minute news bulletin assignment - May 2025
The final assignment of my first year at Solent University was to create a five minute news bulletin for Solent Sports News in a group of three.
In this news bulletin, we exercised common TV practices and techniques such as an UPSOT, a VT, a vox-pop package and ULAY's.
Furthermore, the majority of the footage was collected and filmed by members of the group making it almost a completely original package.
We framed our package around major news and local football. This meant that we included news based around Southampton FC, AFC Totton and AFC Stoneham as they winded down their campaigns.
